Labromare is a member of Castalia consortium along with the most important Italian shipowners.

Castalia is a permanent consortium that has been dealing with the protection of the environment of the Italian coast for over 20 years. The service is carried out on behalf of the Ministry of the Environment with more than 40 ships stationed along the whole coastline of the peninsula.

Labromare is present in 4 locations: two in Sardinia, at Arbatax and Porto Torres; two in the Tuscan Archipelago, Porto Santo Stefano and Piombino – the Island of Elba. Labromare ships are coastal units with all the anti-pollution equipment designed for the purpose.

The public service is of major importance in the light of the incidents that have occurred and which might occur in the beautiful seas around the peninsula.
